I have also tried creating a completely new sharepoint from scratch (separate from the Public folder) which results in the exact same issue. Issue recreates the same in both as well as the MacOS X Finder, but I know the finder doesn't allow uploading anyway, so that part is irrelevant. I have been able to recreate the issue in Cyberduck and Transmit, both in Passive and Active modes. I also restarted the service after each adjustment as well as the server to make sure the service was launching correctly. I have doulbechecked folder permissions in Workgroup Manager as well as made sure that the Public folder is shared and everyone has read/write access with no login requirements. However, they cannot upload via FTP, only download. Users can move files to and from the folder via AFP. I have set up a server (10.4.6) that allows users to connect to the Public folder as guests (i.e. Thanks for any help in advance anyone and everyone.
